Seaforde Demesne has been home to the Forde Family for almost 400 years. Buildings have come and gone, and the surrounding land has been developed, redesigned and safeguarded by generations. Today it is now best known as a unique Northern Irish visitor attraction with acres of botanical gardens and a dramatic butterfly house open for families to explore.
After the success of our work on the Seaforde Gardens brand design, we were asked to redevelop their website to show what visitors had been experiencing first-hand for all those years. The goal was to attract the imaginations of a new audience of tourists and local people in search of a nature-filled, unique day out.

We wanted to show the gardens at their best, so we introduced the Forde family to the talented local photographer Simon Mills, who took a wander around the gardens and captured what he found.
The resulting shots are a stunning introduction to the myriad of colours and textures on show.
The Seaforde website includes a gallery feature whereby visitors’ photos, when location tagged and posted on Instagram, are automatically pulled into a public gallery. This lets us all see a live feed of what’s catching visitors’ eyes in the gardens today.
