The Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark holds some of the most unique and beautiful landscapes and heritage from the lakes and islands of Lough Erne to the blanket bogs of Cuilcagh Mountain. Heritage sites in the geopark are enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
The team has developed a “Geopark Code” for visitors to follow which will help them reduce their impact on the sites they visit and enjoy them safely. It will ultimately work towards making tourism in the geopark more sustainable and safe.
We were commissioned to design an infographic to visually represent the Geopark Code, to make it user friendly, fun and easy to understand. We worked with Julie in Stray Illustration to produce the series of characterful illustrations and roll them out on posters and on social media.

Stray Illustration developed a cheeky little character who is doing everything wrong during their trip to this beautiful, natural wonder. Our little ‘anti-hero’ character is getting up to all kinds of mischief, and the animals of the Geopark are either helping save the day or fighting back!
“We are really pleased with everything and can’t wait to start getting it on panels and leaflets this winter so we can really get use out of it next season.”
